And, here are the alterations I made:
1. I just made this for one, but used 2 slices of bread and one egg.
2. I didn’t use maple syrup, I chose a healthier option of agave nectar syrup (a delicious syrup you should definitely get in. It’s crazy how much I have gone from never using it to using it almost every day!)
3. Instead of bacon, I chose fresh ham from the butchers.
4. To serve, I added a mixed bean salad to make this a lunch rather than brunch meal.
