I’m ridiculously excited as I have my first chance at work to bake a birthday cake! Last time I made a birthday cake was fot my mum in August (Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese frosting) and the time before that was one my most creative and that was in MAY. So, it’s safe to say I have cake-baking withdrawal symptoms!
I will be making a new recipe especially for this cake as it is a special request – banana cake! But i’m going to make it extra special by making it a banana and chocolate swirl cake. I’ll be being a little bit technical (whoa steady on there brain!) when I do the swirl part (yes, sounds all arty and non-techy, but believe me, I have to do some calculations to get the coco powder to dark chocolate to banana ratio correct!) So, the recipe will be up here soon, i’m just finalising the details and then i’ll post it up on Sunday after i’ve made it (fingers crossed it all turns out well)!!
